Electronic Transit Fare System: Arc Launch!
Exciting news! - starting today Edmontonians can order their “ARC” card through the website (myArc.ca) or by calling 1-888-302-0001 to receive their card by mail with Standard Adult Fare launching on November 21, 2022!
Quick Facts:
Riders can load as little as $4 or as much as $500 to their “Arc Purse.”
Funds are stored on a secure online account. By registering your account, you can transfer funds to a new card if your card is lost or stolen.
Standard Adult ETS riders get the lowest fare rate at $2.75 for 90 minutes within Edmonton (less than the current cash price of $3.50 for 90 minutes within Edmonton).
There are 117 Arc fare vending machines throughout the entire regional network. For the first time in the Edmonton region, these machines will offer riders the ability to use credit, debit and tap as well as cash to purchase Arc fares.
Transit agencies will continue to accept cash fare payment
Transit users can still use paper tickets and monthly transit passes.
