Weekly Round-up Budget Highlights Fall 2021
I’m so proud of the budget that Council has passed. This budget reflects Council’s commitment to find balance by keeping tax increases as low as possible while ensuring we are providing the care and services that Edmontonians expect as we move forward together.
The total tax levy for 2022 is 1.91% - the lowest municipal tax rate increase in the Region and Canada from the scan done so far.
The increase includes:

🔸0.06% increase to Edmonton Police Service
🔸0.3% for alley renewal
🔸0.1% Valley Line LRT
